Every sector in Europe needs Advanced Manufacturing – now.

Advanced Manufacturing is more than a single technology - it is a powerful underlying ecosystem of different techniques and technologies that can strengthen every industrial sector, from automotive and aerospace to pharmaceuticals, agri-food, defense, clean energy, and electricity grid technologies.

It is therefore essential to achieve Europe's strategic goals in terms of competitiveness, resilience, and climate ambition. Still, today's industrial strategies tend to focus far more on what we make, rather than how we make it. Yet without state-of-the-art, highly automated and digitised industrial production systems, Europe will struggle to drive up productivity, scale clean technologies, and meet its objectives for sustainable growth. Achieving this requires strong, integrated value chains spanning the full spectrum of industrial actors, from manufacturers to the suppliers, subcontractors and SMEs on which they depend.
