Applications Open for the 2026 Eco-City Academy

Are you interested in learning more about climate action and how you can help create a greener, more resilient Alexandria? Apply today for the 2026 Eco-City Academy, a free program that gives residents the knowledge and tools to take an active role in advancing the City's climate, energy, and sustainability efforts.

Through presentations, interactive activities, and conversations with City staff, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Alexandria's Environmental Action Plan and explore practical ways to support sustainability efforts in their community.

Program Details:

• Open to City of Alexandria residents ages 17 and older
• Two in-person sessions: Saturday, September 19 and Saturday, September 26, 2026
• Applications due by 11:59 p.m. on August 12, 2026
