Beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 24, pavement sealing work will begin on various City streets. Residents directly impacted will be notified with a door hanger 24 hours in advance of the work.
No parking and other traffic signs will be placed along the streets. On-street parking restrictions will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. No parking areas will remain in effect until the project is completed, and the no parking signs have been removed.
The work will be done on one side of the street at a time. Flaggers will be present and will allow one-way traffic on the other half of the street. Curing can take between one to two hours. After the seal has cured, the road will be fully opened to traffic. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
Sealing work will be performed on the streets that underwent sealcoat treatment earlier this year, as well as in the Chadwick Estates and Chadwick Place Subdivisions. The City appreciates the public's patience while these roadway treatments are applied.
