Danfoss presents solutions for zero-emission public transport at Busworld Europe 2025

The new compressor combines safety and sustainability

Busworld will also provide a launchpad for Danfoss' newest compressor, the HGZ44, a two-in-one solution that works across a wide range of natural refrigerants. Specifically developed for truck refrigeration applications, the HGZ44 features aluminum housing, for a lightweight design, and supports A2L and HC refrigerants. The compressor is validated for transport and is expected to achieve UL certification by mid-2026.

Accelerating the electrification of transportation

In addition to providing energy-efficient compressors for mobile heating and cooling systems, Danfoss also offers line components, such as thermostatic and electric expansion valves, solenoid valves, hermetic filter driers and brazed plate heat exchangers that meet the needs of the bus industry.
