CHANDLER, Ariz. - The highly anticipated Sonoran Sunset Series is back, transforming Veterans Oasis Park into an enchanting outdoor concert venue where live music harmonizes with Arizona's breathtaking natural beauty.
This community-favorite free concert series launches Oct. 16, inviting music enthusiasts and families to create unforgettable memories under Chandler's spectacular desert sunsets and twinkling night skies.
The Sonoran Sunset Series runs monthly on the third Thursday from Oct. 16 through March 19, 2026, with performances from 6-7:30 p.m. Each evening features carefully curated local artists spanning everything from folk and rock to indie and alternative sounds, ensuring there's something to captivate every musical taste.
Local artists with their scheduled performance date include:
"There's something truly magical about experiencing live music in the heart of the Sonoran Desert," says Theo Anglin, Chandler recreation coordinator and event organizer. "As the sun sets behind the mountains and the desert comes alive, our audience becomes part of something special - a community celebration where incredible local talent takes center stage in nature's own amphitheater."
Veterans Oasis Park is located at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler. Seating is first-come, first-served. Pack your blankets and lawn chairs, and bring along snacks and beverages in small coolers to complete your perfect evening. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
