PASADENA, Calif.- Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) will host a residential Solar Power and Battery 101 virtual workshop on Thursday, November 5 at 6 p.m., giving customers a clear, simple introduction to going solar and what to expect from the process, including how residents can save an average of 20%-30% on upfront costs.
In addition to sharing rebate information, PWP staff will cover the essential steps of solar power and battery storage installation including how to choose reputable vendors, the benefits of solar and battery storage, and navigating permits and electric code requirements.
"Choosing to install solar power and battery storage at home is a meaningful investment that pays off for both our customers and our city. It delivers clean energy, supports Pasadena's path toward 100% carbon-free electricity by the end of 2030, and gives homeowners greater control over their energy use and costs," said David Reyes, PWP General Manager.
