Leading Sports Attorney Jason Krochak Joins Kirkland & Ellis

Kirkland & Ellis announced today that leading sports attorney Jason Krochak has joined the Firm as a partner in the Sports Group.

Mr. Krochak represents private capital firms, professional sports teams and owners, sports leagues, college conferences, financial institutions, sportsbooks and other strategic companies in the sports, media and gaming industries. He advises on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, league expansions, financings and governance matters, as well as naming rights, sponsorship, media, licensing and various other commercial agreements.

Mr. Krochak joins Kirkland just weeks after another premier sports attorney, Frank Saviano, joined the Firm as a partner in September.

Recognized for his work in the sports industry, Mr. Krochak is a three-time Sports Business Journal "Forty Under 40" honoree and a Hall of Fame inductee, joining the ranks of the most influential executives in sports. He is also ranked in Chambers USA and has been named one of The Hollywood Reporter's Top Sports Lawyers and Forbes' Top Lawyers. He was previously a partner with Proskauer Rose LLP.
