Clinical Support Unit Warns of Regional Uptick in Serious Overdoses

The Cambridge Police Clinical Support Unit has been made aware of an uptick in serious overdoses across the region. This can be indicative of substances with a higher potency or including unknown additives. While the causes of these overdoses are not yet known, we encourage those in the community who come into contact with such substances to be mindful and take appropriate safety precautions.

Available Resources:

Free fentanyl test strips, harm reduction supplies, and Narcan for those using substances can be located at Access: Drug User Health Program at 359 Green Street in Cambridge.
