Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Two to the Florida Athletic Commission

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Alan Suskey and Dr. Cody Vanlandingham to the Florida Athletic Commission.
Alan Suskey
Suskey is the Executive Vice President of Shumaker Advisors. Active in his community, he is a member of the Florida Is For Veterans, Inc. Board of Directors. A veteran of the United States Army, Suskey earned his bachelor's degree in political science from American Military University.
Dr. Cody Vanlandingham
Dr. Vanlandingham is a Medical Doctor with the Tallahassee Medical Group. Active in his community, he is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the Capital Medical Society, and the Florida State University College of Medicine Selection Committee. Dr. Vanlandingham earned his bachelor's degree in biology and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Florida State University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
