Buffalo, New York (March 31, 2026) - Northwest Bank is proud to share that Jennifer Gibson, region president and executive director of retail banking, has been named to Buffalo Business First's 2026 Power 250, an annual ranking that recognizes the most influential leaders shaping Western New York's business and civic landscape.
Each year, the Power 250 honors individuals whose leadership, impact and contributions strengthen the region's economic vitality and community wellbeing. Gibson's inclusion reflects her distinguished career, commitment to service and meaningful influence across the markets she serves.
Since joining Northwest Bank more than two decades ago, Gibson has held a variety of senior leadership roles across New York, Pennsylvania Ohio and Indiana, where she has championed strategic growth, strengthened community partnerships and led high-performing teams with a focus on innovation and exceptional customer experience.
"I'm deeply honored to be recognized among so many respected leaders in Western New York," said Gibson. "This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire Northwest team. I'm grateful for the opportunity to support our customers, invest in our communities and help drive positive regional momentum."
Gibson oversees consumer banking strategy, market development and multistate retail operations. She is also a longstanding advocate for economic development and community investment initiatives-values that align closely with Northwest's mission to strengthen the neighborhoods it serves.
Recently she and members of her team participated in the 64th Annual Variety Kids Telethon, helping raise more than one million dollars to support Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
"Jennifer is an outstanding leader whose passion, expertise and vision make a meaningful difference for our customers, our associates and the communities we call home," said Urich Bowers, chief consumer banking and strategy officer.
This honor comes as Northwest celebrates another noteworthy achievement - being named a finalist for Buffalo Business First's Best Places to Work in 2026 in the Major Companies category, a recognition driven by employee feedback and reflective of the bank's strong culture of trust, collaboration and accountability.
