Stillwater, Okla. - Jan. 13, 2026 - The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) today announced the appointment of five leaders in agriculture to serve on the Oklahoma USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) state committee.

Members of the FSA state committee are appointed by Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins and, in support of the Trump Administration's Farmers First commitment, members of the FSA state committee are responsible for the oversight of farm programs and county committee operations, resolving program delivery appeals from the agriculture community, maintaining cooperative relations with industry stakeholders and keeping producers informed about current FSA programs.

Each FSA state committee is comprised of three to five members including a designated chairperson. The individuals appointed to serve on this committee for Oklahoma are:

  • Gaye Pfeiffer, Chair (Mulhall) - Pfeiffer is co-owner and operator of a registered Angus seedstock and farming operation in Logan County, Oklahoma. She previously served in a leadership role at the Oklahoma Angus Association where she facilitated feeder calf sales and producer connections.
  • Ian Chapman, Member (Ardmore) - Chapman is managing partner of a cattle and sheep ranching operation in Texas and Oklahoma. He is also the founder and owner of a cattle operation where he is responsible for all facets of production including grazing rotations and equipment management.
  • Terry Jurgensmeyer, Member (Miami) - Jurgensmeyer operates a large, diversified livestock and poultry enterprise, including a 600-head commercial cow-calf herd and long-running broiler operation. Jurgensmeyer is president and board director of a large mushroom operation, annually producing 25 million pounds of mushrooms. He joined the operation in 1979 as a plant engineer and held numerous positions before becoming president.
  • Ronald Justice, Member (Chickasha) - Justice is a lifelong Oklahoma leader in agriculture. He was raised on a diversified family farm in Blaine County growing wheat and cotton and included a cow/calf and swine operation. He earned his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University.
  • Matt Mueller, Member (Altus) - Mueller is a full-time farmer on a diversified row crop operation producing cotton, winter wheat, grain sorghum, mung beans, oats, and rye. He implements no-till farming, cover crops, crop diversification, and prescription-based fertility applications to promote sustainability and resource conservation.

"These individuals, selected by Secretary Rollins in partnership with key stakeholders in each state, are held in high regard in the agriculture industry and are entrusted to ensure FSA programs are delivered in a manner consistent with federal farm policy and in the best interest of all agricultural producers in their state," said FSA Administrator Bill Beam. "Their appointment to the FSA state committee is a testament to their standing in the industry and their dedication to the agriculture industry, rural America and President Trump's America First, Farmers First policies."

FSA helps America's farmers, ranchers and forest landowners invest in, improve, protect and expand their agricultural operations through the delivery of agricultural programs for all Americans.
