Annual Slurry Seal Project Schedule

The City of Buena Park is continuing to work on the 2025-2026 Annual Slurry Seal Project. Slurry seal projects are an important part of the City's pavement management plan. A slurry seal is a proactive maintenance treatment that prolongs the life of asphalt. This treatment provides a new wearing surface for the road and protects it from sun and water damage. The below table indicates the tentative days of work on each project street. Dates are subject to change, and any changes to the schedule will be reflected on this website page until the end of construction. No parking signs will be placed along each street with a date reflecting the date in which your street will be slurry sealed. In preparation of this work, we ask that you park your vehicles on an adjacent, non-posted street before the work date/hours so you use your vehicle.

The streets will not be available for use until the surface dries. Slurry seal is sticky and will adhere to your tires if you drive on it when it is wet, so please obey all construction area signs. Additionally, please do not permit water to run in the gutter during this period.
