City of Frederick Hosts Youth Dialogue Forum to Encourage Students Civic Engagement

The City of Frederick will host a Youth Dialogue Forum on Friday, January 16, 2026. The event will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the C. Burr Arts Library Community Room. Our goal is to bring together local students for an afternoon of learning, discussion, and civic engagement.

The Youth Dialogue Forum is a free event designed to provide young people with an opportunity to engage directly in government and learn from local experts. Through interactive workshops and guided discussions, participants will explore topics that impact their community and consider solutions alongside their peers.

The forum will allow students to explore how information is shared with the community and how local industries support their dream jobs. Each workshop will include a brief presentation followed by a guided activity and group discussion. We encourage attendees to share ideas and propose potential solutions to the issues discussed throughout the day.
