B1039’s Cash 4 My Class: Teachers Surprised with $1,000!

For the third year in a row, B1039 (WXKB) teamed up with Achieva Credit Union to bring joy and support to local educators through the station's "Cash 4 My Class" promotion.

Six Southwest Florida teachers were each surprised with $1,000 for their classrooms after being selected in an online contest. The funds can go toward games, supplies, room transformations, or anything else that helps teachers and students thrive - without teachers having to spend their own money.

The B1039 Wild Bunch Morning Show, Budman & Marija, personally delivered the big surprises before school, sparking huge smiles, tears of joy, and even applause from fellow teachers cheering on their colleagues. Winners expressed heartfelt gratitude, and the excitement filled every hallway they visited.
