(Portland, Ore., Feb. 24, 2026) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture will invest $21.5 million in Oregon, through a loan guarantee to Greens Chandler, LLC, to purchase and renovate a hotel in Klamath Falls.
"This project is an excellent example of how President Trump's push to restore American communities with targeted investments is catalyzing private capital and delivering long-term community value," said Deputy Under Secretary for USDA Rural Development Neal Robbins. "This project will support rural jobs and provide improved access for visitors to the Cascade Mountain Range and Klamath Lake."
ReadyCap Commercial, LLC, a national real estate and small business lender, in partnership with USDA, is providing Greens Chandler, LLC, with a $21.5 million federally guaranteed loan to purchase and renovate the Shiloh Inn building in Klamath Falls, which will support local jobs and the greater area economy.
"This investment is an example of USDA's partnering role with both lender and business owner to support job growth and stimulate the rural economy," said Oregon USDA Rural Development State Director Jim Carmack. "Klamath Falls will enjoy long-term benefits from this hotel renovation and reinvestment."
The investment is made by USDA Rural Development through the Business and Industry Loan Guarantees Program . The program helps improve rural economic health by increasing access to business capital.
