The program represented more than technical instruction. It reflected a shared commitment to professionalism, resilience, and long-term self-sufficiency within Somalia's security institutions. By empowering local trainers and reinforcing leadership skills, the initiative aimed to ensure that knowledge and expertise could continue to grow from within.
Throughout the training, cooperation and mutual respect remained at the center of every exercise. Somali instructors progressively assumed greater responsibility in guiding and mentoring future personnel, demonstrating the increasing strength and confidence of the national forces.
As the sessions concluded, the results were visible not only in improved operational readiness, but also in the spirit of partnership that united all participants. Together, they continued to build stronger foundations for peace, stability, and a more secure future for Somalia.

Furthermore when conditions permitting and pending EU PSC approval, EUTM-S should be prepared to expand their activities to Regional HQ's. EUTM-S will also provide support, within means and capabilities, to other EU and international actors in the implementation of their respective mandates following PSC guidance and given their values/ principles/ aims and interests aligned with the EU's.
