Traffic shift from U.S. Route 36 to Bob Griffin Road in Cameron scheduled for Oct. 5

DeKalb County U.S. Route 36 and Bob Griffin Road

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Clarkson Construction Company, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plans to close access to north Bob Griffin Road for those traveling from westbound U.S. Route 36 in Cameron beginning Monday, Oct. 5 to widen the right turn lanes on the northeast corner of the intersection.

Traffic Impacts: Access to northbound Bob Griffin Road from westbound U.S. Route 36 will be closed beginning Monday, Oct. 5. A signed detour will be in place directing motorists onto Route 69 then on eastbound Route 36 to turn northbound on Bob Griffin Road.

This phase of the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2026.The intersection improvement project is scheduled to be completed by November 2026.
