Rep. Bryce Berry Named 2026 20 Under 40 Leadership Award Recipient by CSG

ATLANTA - State Representative Bryce Berry (D-Atlanta) was recently named as a 2026 20 Under 40 Leadership Award recipient by the Council of State Governments (CSG). CSG selected 20 emerging elected and appointed state officials to receive the 2026 CSG 20 Under 40 Leadership Award.

"I am grateful to have been selected by CSG as a 2026 20 Under 40 Leadership Award recipient," said Rep. Berry. "I am honored to be included among a distinguished group of young leaders who are committed to making a positive difference in their states and communities. As young state officials, it is important that we come together to exchange ideas, share innovative approaches and bring meaningful policy solutions back to our communities. By working together and learning from one another, we can help ensure that our constituents of all ages have a voice in the legislative process and are fairly represented in state government."

Established in 2020 to strengthen engagement with younger state leaders, the CSG 20 Under 40 Leadership Award seeks to honor officials who are making a meaningful impact through public service, innovation and effective leadership. The 2026 class brings together a bipartisan group of leaders from 19 states and all four CSG regions.

"I am excited to welcome another class of exceptional CSG 20 Under 40 honorees," said David Adkins, CSG executive director/CEO. "These young leaders showcase the passion needed for public service and understand the value of working collaboratively to meet common goals. Given what they have already accomplished, I'm confident these state officials will make a difference for decades to come." A recognition ceremony for the 2026 recipients will take place at the CSG National Conference, from December 3-6 in Anaheim, Ca. Leaders from all 50 states, five U.S. territories and the District of Columbia will be in attendance to exchange ideas, address complex state policy issues and celebrate the work of public servants.

CSG is the nation's only organization serving all three branches of state government. CSG is a region-based forum that seeks to foster the exchange of insights and ideas to help state officials shape public policy. CSG offers regional, national and international opportunities to network, develop leaders, collaborate and create problem-solving partnerships.
