The 2025 Simi Valley Youth Summit Registration is Open

Simi Valley, Calif. - The Simi Valley Youth Council invites all eighth through twelfth-grade students in Simi Valley to participate in the 21st Annual Youth Summit, Voices of Tomorrow, on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This free event is designed to inspire students to set goals, strengthen leadership skills, and become more engaged in their community. The Youth Summit is sponsored by the City of Simi Valley's Youth Council, Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, and the Simi Valley Unified School District. The event will take place at the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District Activity Center, located at 4201 Guardian Street. Highlights include a motivational keynote speaker, interactive workshops, and small group discussions on community issues affecting local youth. "The Youth Summit is a fantastic opportunity to make new connections, brainstorm solutions to challenges, and meet with leaders who can help bring those solutions to life," says Youth Summit Chair Saydee Ro. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with City Council Members, Simi Valley Unified School District Board Members, Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District Board Members, and other elected officials and community leaders on youth-related issues and concerns. The Simi Valley Unified School District recognizes participation in the event as an excused absence for school business, and each student will receive six hours of community service credit. High school students outside the Simi Valley Unified School District are also welcome to attend. Students interested in attending the Youth Summit are required to register and submit permission forms in advance. Registration is available at bit.ly/ycyouthsummit25 and closes on Friday, October 3, 2025. Space is limited to the first 132 students. The Simi Valley Youth Council is an advisory board to the City Council on issues that affect the Youth in the community.
