Pickett to Host Upcoming Senior Expo
September 2, 2025
HARRISBURG - Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Wyoming) is inviting senior residents in the area to her third annual Wyoming County Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 26. The free event will take place at the Triton Hose Company, 116 W. Tioga St. in Tunkhannock, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"I feel it is important to provide information on these services to our community," said Pickett. "This is a free and accessible event, and I encourage seniors and their caregivers to make plans to join us and take advantage of this opportunity."
Dozens of exhibitors will be in attendance to provide information on health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, financial planning, fraud protection, government services, veterans benefits and more.
As part of the expo, there will be a free shredding service as well as a drug take-back program. This will give residents a chance to have their personal documents securely destroyed and to properly dispose of unused or expired medications.
