Prime Minister reaffirms commitment to cooperation between Portugal and Mozambique

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro reaffirmed Portugal's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Mozambique following a meeting with President of Mozambique Daniel Chapo, held on the day the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) marks its 30th anniversary.

In a message published on X, Luís Montenegro described the meeting with Daniel Chapo as "particularly symbolic and meaningful", noting that, following the 6th Portugal-Mozambique Summit, the two countries are pursuing "an ever deeper" cooperation agenda.

The Prime Minister also reaffirmed that Portugal and Mozambique are close partners and highlighted the shared commitment of both Governments to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation for the benefit of their peoples and economies.
