Pew Welcomes Brian Dean to Lead Workplace Services

WASHINGTON-The Pew Charitable Trusts announced today the appointment of Brian Dean as vice president of workplace services. In this role, Dean will lead the team responsible for Pew's physical workplaces, conferences, and events, and for ensuring travel and business continuity risk management throughout the organization, including in Pew's Philadelphia headquarters; its Washington, D.C., office; and its offices around the world.

Dean brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. He joins Pew from Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit where he built and led the group's real estate and workplace operations. Previously, he worked at T. Rowe Price, AOL, and IBM.

"Brian brings a passion for ensuring that the workplace positively impacts staff, and he has a collaborative approach to workplace issues," said Elaine Bowman, Pew's senior vice president of people and workplace. "We welcome his strengths and experience as a complement to our talented workplace team and staff."

Dean said, "I'm thrilled to join Pew and to partner with my new colleagues across the organization. I look forward to enabling their work by cultivating an exceptional workplace experience and a built environment that advances Pew's mission, culture, and impact."

Dean holds a bachelor's degree in design and environmental analysis from Cornell University and a master's in facilities management from Pratt Institute.
