Orange County, FL - This morning, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings launched the Orange County Mayor's Toy Drive which is celebrating its 16th year of providing toys and gifts to local families. Since 2011, the toy drive has collected over 110,000 toys and gifts.
"For 16 years, this toy drive has reflected the generosity and compassion that make Orange County such a special place," said Mayor Demings. "Every donation helps bring joy to a child and reminds families that their community is here to support them. I encourage our residents to join us in making the holidays brighter for children and families throughout Orange County."
Donations support Orange County youth and family agencies, including the families who receive the gifts, Wraparound Orange, Orange County Public Schools' Kids' Closet, and local nonprofit organizations.
Residents can conveniently donate online or drop new, unwrapped items at one of 40 locations around the county. Here are details on how to participate:
SHOP ONLINE: Purchase a gift online from virtual toy store by Monday, November 30, 2026. All purchases will be shipped directly to the holiday warehouse.
DONATE IN PERSON: Drop off new, unwrapped toy donations by Monday, December 7, 2026. In-person drop-off locations this year include Orange County Library Branches, select Orange County Fire Stations and Parks, and - new this year - the Orange County Administration Center, the Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge, and the Orange County Regional History Center.
