Public Power Helping Public Power

Mutual aid is a long-standing agreement among public power utilities to support one another during major outages by sharing crews and equipment. Assistance is provided only when a utility's own system is stable, and local customers remain the top priority. During recent winter storm response efforts, we were grateful for the support of crews from Springfield Utility Board, Emerald PUD, and Eugene Water & Electric Board. When conditions allow, Central Lincoln crews also travel to assist other communities - just as others step in to help us when we need it most.
