REVISED: Bridge rehab on NB/SB I-635 over MO River in Platte County, ONGOING - late May

PLATTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing a bridge rehabilitation, resulting in various traffic modifications, on northbound/southbound Interstate 635 over the Missouri River. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.

Traffic modifications below, ONGOING - late May

Work will be taking place underneath the bridge from the bridge deck and the substructure

  • Left lanes on I -635 NB/SB closed, Friday, May 1 at 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Friday, May 7
  • Intermittent lane closures on I-635 NB/SB, ONGOING until late May

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
