2:00 p.m. Mayor Parker to Attend Water Orchestra Ceremonial Opening Performance
Mayor Parker will help kick off the Water Orchestra in Dilworth Park and celebrate how essential the arts are to a thriving city. To celebrate its upcoming 125th anniversary, The Philadelphia Orchestra recorded a specially curated soundtrack to coincide with people's movements and gestures when they step onto the conductor's podium. The free and public installation will run through the beginning of October.
