July 16, 2026 − Today, Senator Vincent Hughes (D-Phila/Montgomery) announced $90 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants for community infrastructure projects in Philadelphia and Montgomery County. The grants will support projects that address a range of local needs, including increased affordable housing, upgraded educational facilities, expanded access to healthcare and childcare, and enhanced outdoor and recreational spaces.
"These funds are going to projects that will serve our communities in a number of ways," said Senator Hughes. "When people see a new affordable housing complex or community education center in their neighborhood, they should understand the intentionality behind that new structure. I'm proud to work with city and community leaders to get these investments to people who are doing tremendous work to bring new jobs, services, and opportunities to Philly and Montco."
In total, almost 100 projects in Philadelphia and Montgomery County received funding from this most recent round of RACP funding. Across the Commonwealth, over 350 projects received over $436 million in funding.
