Honigman LLP is pleased to announce that the firm's executive committee has elected the following eight attorneys as partners, effective January 1, 2026.
Brian Braum, Jr. (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate Department. He focuses his practice on finance, banking, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and general corporate services, with experience in asset-based lending and other commercial financing structures. Braum earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Nicholas A. Burandt (Chicago) is a member of the Litigation Department. He focuses on complex commercial litigation matters. Burandt earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
David P. Cowen (Ann Arbor) is a member of the Litigation Department who focuses his practice on investigations and white-collar defense. Cowen earned his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law.
Yafeez S. Fatabhoy (Ann Arbor) is a member of the Intellectual Property Department who concentrates his practice on strategic counseling and guidance regarding intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade dress matters. Fatabhoy earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Paul W. Howarah (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate Department. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. Howarah earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
Collin J. Rosenbaum (Kalamazoo) is a member of the Real Estate Department. He focuses his practice the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of real estate assets, including retail shopping centers, affordable housing properties, and industrial facilities. Rosenbuam earned his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Nicholas D. Weier (Detroit) is a member of the Litigation Department who concentrates his practice on e-discovery strategy, advice, and services; antitrust and trade regulation; and complex commercial litigation. Weier earned his J.D. from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Haba K. Yono (Detroit) is a member of the Labor and Employment Department. She focuses her practice on employment counseling, litigation, and strategic workforce planning. Yono earned her J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School.
