Kimball International's A&D Focused UpStar Program Launches its Fourth Year

Kimball International is excited to begin the fourth year of their UpStar emerging talent program. Hosted as a year-long program, participants are nominated by Design Firm Principals to participate in this homegrown mentorship initiative. The program is a year-long commitment that includes local and virtual events which give participants the opportunity to network, brainstorm with peers, and grow.

Through in-market events, like guest speakers, foresight workshops, and trend analysis presentations, the UpStar participants create physical connections within their markets. The virtual events allow the entire class to gather, across nine markets, to create relationships and build mentorship initiatives. UpStar prides itself on offering professional development and design dialogs that focus on personal and professional growth.

This emerging talent program has grown in size and location since its inception in 2022. Created out of a need during the pandemic to help bridge the social and development gap for upcoming designers, UpStar continues to showcase its value by providing the A&D community with unparalleled events that spark creativity, drive passion, and build relationships.
