CARY, NC - Cary is welcoming Halloween with a month of movies, programs, outdoor activities, and family-friendly events throughout October.
Start your Halloween adventures by attending one of the many scary movie showings at Downtown Cary Park and The Cary Theater. On Oct. 24, Downtown Scary Park will feature a hotel-themed movie double feature.
Those looking to stretch their creative muscles can participate in the Town's Bones & Botanicals art class on Oct. 14. Grab the whole family and carve a masterpiece for the annual Pumpkin Flotilla at Bond Park on Oct. 23, or come check out community carvings. We even have opportunities to get your four-legged friends involved with our Tricks & Treats: Dog Training class series.
When the lights go out, enjoy our Haunted Walk Night through Bond Park on Oct. 23 and 24. Finally, on Halloween eve, get active at the Neon Nightmares (GLOW) Yoga class on the Great Lawn.
Halloween is celebrated on Oct. 31, and residents planning to trick-or-treat should check with their neighborhood or HOA for information about any planned activities or recommended trick-or-treating times. Adults should accompany young children, and everyone can help keep the night safe by staying in well-lit areas, using sidewalks when available, and carrying a flashlight or wearing reflective clothing or accessories, so you're easier for drivers to see.
