The President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia welcomed the President of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption

The President of the Court of Audit Jana Ahčin met newly appointed President of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption Katarina Bervar Sternad.

At the introductory meeting, both stressed the importance of cooperation of supervisory institutions in the Republic of Slovenia. They also believe that the relevance of providing independence of state institutions of special importance is crucial, with the Court of Audit as well as the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption clearly being among them. Cooperation in preventing and controlling the operations and activities of the state bodies and individuals is of outstanding significance, thus the Presidents agreed upon further cooperation and open communication.
