AMICE welcomes two new Board directors

The members of AMICE have elected two new directors to the AMICE Board.

María José Rodríguez, General Manager, Seguros Lagun Aro (Spain), and Thomas Sehn, CFO, HUK-Coburg (Germany), join the Board following the departure of Pablo Mongelos García and Klaus-Jürgen Heitmann.

AMICE warmly welcomes María José and Thomas and looks forward to benefiting from their expertise and experience as the Association continues its work representing mutual and cooperative insurers across Europe.

AMICE also extends its sincere thanks to Pablo Mongelos García and Klaus-Jürgen Heitmann for their longstanding commitment to the Association and their valuable contribution to advancing the interests of the mutual and cooperative insurance sector at European level.

Speaking following the appointments, AMICE President Grzegorz Buczkowski said:

"AMICE's Board welcomes our two new members and thanks Pablo Mongelos García and Klaus-Jürgen Heitmann for their strong leadership and support for the mutual and cooperative insurance sector in Europe. Our Board's vigour and diversity are complemented by the appointment of our two new colleagues from Spain and Germany."

At the same General Meeting, members also approved an updated governance framework designed to strengthen member representation and engagement through an enhanced structure of Vice-Presidents and Commissions.
