Upcoming Juno Webinar to Help Students Better Understand Financial Aid

October 21, 2026

ASPPH encourages members to share an upcoming webinar hosted by Juno, a student financing resource available to public health students. Taking place on Monday, November 2, at 8:00 PM ET, "Understanding the Student Aid Index" will help students navigate the financial aid process and make informed decisions about financing their education.

Following completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students receive a Student Aid Index (SAI), which plays an important role in determining their eligibility for federal financial assistance. Understanding how this index is calculated and used can help students better interpret their financial aid awards and evaluate their financing options.

During this expert-led webinar, Juno will explain how the SAI is calculated, its relationship to federal student aid packages, and what students should consider when reviewing their financial aid offers.

Through Juno, public health students also have access to additional private loan options and financing resources as they navigate an increasingly complex student lending environment. These resources complement, rather than replace, the importance of accessible federal student aid.

ASPPH encourages member institutions to share this opportunity with current and prospective students who may benefit from additional guidance on financial aid.
