CCB Names Amber Harper as 2026 Spirit of CCB Community Service Award Recipient

Cattaraugus County Bank (CCB) is pleased to announce that Amber Harper, Personal Banker at CCB's Little Valley branch, has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Spirit of CCB Community Service Award. This distinction recognizes employees who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to their communities through leadership, volunteerism and service, while embodying CCB's guiding principle: "Where Community Counts."

For Amber, community service is about investing her time and heart into the next generation and finding meaningful ways to make a difference close to home.

Amber is the co-founder of Rays of Hope, a community youth group in Randolph dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive space where young people can connect, grow and feel valued. Through her involvement, Amber helps provide local youth with opportunities for mentorship, friendship and positive community connections.

Her commitment to young people extends into several other areas of her life. Amber is a dance instructor, sharing her time and talents with area dancers, and previously served as a youth football cheerleading coach. Amber and her husband have also opened their home to an exchange student from Germany for the current school year, giving a young person the opportunity to experience life, school and community here in WNY.

At CCB, Amber brings that same spirit of care and connection to her role as a Personal Banker in Little Valley, NY. Whether she is helping a customer work toward a financial goal, mentoring local youth, teaching dance or simply showing up when her community needs her, Amber demonstrates that community service can take many forms.

"Amber truly represents what the Spirit of CCB Community Service Award is all about," said Mike Wimer, President and CEO of CCB. "She gives her time and talents in ways that directly impact young people and families in our communities. Her willingness to invest in others, both professionally and personally, reflects the values that have been at the heart of CCB for generations. We are proud to recognize Amber with this well-deserved honor."

Since 1902, CCB has believed that being a locally owned and operated independent bank means being part of the communities they serve. Employees like Amber bring that commitment to life, demonstrating that "Where Community Counts" is more than a motto. It is about showing up, giving back and helping our communities grow stronger.
