Cone Park Opening Day Announced

The Sioux City Parks & Recreation Department wishes to announce the official opening date for the Cone Park tubing hill and ice-skating rink is Friday, December 19, 2025. All tickets and birthday party packages are now available for purchase.

How to Purchase a Ticket

There are three ways to buy your ticket - payment is required at the time of purchase:
1. Go to www.coneparksiouxcity.com and purchase online. We strongly encourage this method.
2. Call the Parks & Recreation Administrative Office at 712-279-6126, ext. 1.
3. Stop into the Parks & Recreation Administrative Office, located in the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center, 550 Expo Center Drive, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Administrative Office will be closed December 25, 2025 and January 1, 2026.

Due to limited capacity and high demand, we ask patrons to purchase their tickets in advance to minimize lines at the Cone Park ticket window. If the park reaches capacity of ticket sales for any given tubing session, admissions will be closed. All Sales are Final.

Park Details
• Snow tubes are provided - outside tubes or boards are prohibited.
• Capacity: 225 tubers per each 3-hour session.
• Age requirements: Must be 5 years old and up for the main tubing hill.
• Low-income rates are available.
