EBSCO Information Services Names Longtime Executive Darby Kopp as Chief Financial Officer

IPSWICH, Mass. - October 29, 2026 - EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has named longtime executive Darby Kopp as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment reflects the company's focus on strategic continuity and long-term investment in the libraries and institutions it serves.

Darby brings more than 25 years of experience across finance, operations, and corporate development. Since joining EBSCO in 2015, he has been a key member of the company's leadership team, helping guide corporate strategy, capital allocation, long-range planning, and investment priorities. Most recently, he has been serving as Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. As CFO, Darby will oversee EBSCO's financial operations while continuing to lead corporate strategy and development.

Prior to joining EBSCO, Darby held roles spanning venture capital investing, mergers and acquisitions, and financial leadership in the technology and healthcare industries. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College.
