ATLANTA - The House Study Committee on Student Attendance in PreK-12 Education, chaired by State Representative Chris Erwin (R-Homer), will hold its third meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. in room 606 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta, Georgia.
Created by House Resolution 711, the House Study Committee on Student Attendance in PreK-12 Education will a provide a comprehensive review of student attendance in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 to examine the root causes of chronic absenteeism, evaluate best practices for improving student attendance and engagement and recommend legislative and policy initiatives to improve student attendance and engagement.
