Meet Jojo: Your New Go-To for City Questions

"Got a question? I'm all ears… and paws." - Jojo

Have a question about trash pickup, permits, pets, potholes, or where to find the nearest pickleball court? The City of West Jordan is excited to introduce Jojo, our new AI-powered chatbot and your newest (and bluest) digital helper.

Jojo is available 24/7 on the City's website and is designed to make getting answers fast, easy, and convenient. Whether you're on a computer or mobile device, you'll find Jojo waiting in the bottom corner of the City's homepage, ready to help.

Residents can ask Jojo questions about City services, programs, events, and ordinances, or report common issues like streetlights, litter, or missed trash pickup. Jojo can also help point you in the right direction for things like registering for events, reserving a park pavilion, or finding City contact information - all in just a few seconds.

One of Jojo's biggest tricks? Language support. JoJo can chat in more than 70 languages, allowing more residents to access City information in the language they're most comfortable using.

Jojo is also available by text message, making it easy for residents on the go to get help without visiting the website. After starting a conversation, users can choose to opt in for helpful text alerts, including City updates, service notifications, and event reminders. Text "Hello" to (844) 991-5656 to get started today!

"Our goal is to make City services easy to access for everyone," said Marie Magers, West Jordan Communication Manager. "Jojo gives residents a simple, friendly way to get information anytime, anywhere."

Powered by advanced AI technology, Jojo helps City staff work more efficiently while improving customer service for residents. While JoJo can handle many common questions and requests, City staff are always available when more personalized help is needed.

So next time you have a City-related question, don't chase your tail - just ask Jojo!
