Temporary sidewalk closures scheduled at Dallas White Park

The City of North Port announces temporary restrictions to public sidewalk access at Dallas White Park as part of the ongoing Dallas White Park Multi-Use Field Project.

Rose Paving is scheduled to be on site from Feb. 2 through Feb. 12 to complete sidewalk concrete work in designated areas of the park. During this time, sidewalk access in affected areas will be temporarily restricted to ensure public safety.

Additional work involving thermo striping and the installation of handicap signage near the tennis courts is scheduled for Feb. 27. Sidewalk access in that area may also be limited on this date.

The City encourages park visitors to plan ahead, follow posted signage, and use alternate routes when available. These temporary restrictions are necessary to safely complete improvements that will enhance park accessibility and functionality.
