Notice: Temporary Pause of Festival and Event Permit Applications

The City of Lowell's Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (CASE) will not accept new festival or event permit applications from October 1 through December 31, 2025.

This temporary pause will allow our team to focus on planning and preparations for Lowell's Bicentennial Celebration in 2026. Please note that new permitting guidelines will go into effect in 2026, and additional information will be shared ahead of their implementation.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resuming the application process January 1, 2026.
