Governor Ayotte Statement on Easterseals NH Reversing Cuts to Adult Day Programs

CONCORD, NH - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement after Easterseals NH announced it would reverse planned cuts to its Adult Day programs in Manchester and Rochester, as well as continue providing certain in-home services in Strafford and Hillsborough Counties:

"I'm pleased Easterseals has reversed its decision to cut these vital services for older adults, caregivers, and families. I thank Commissioner Weaver and the Department of Health and Human Services, Executive Councilor Stephen, and all of the advocates who voiced their concerns about cutting these services and came to the table to help find a solution. We will continue working with partners like Easterseals to ensure our most vulnerable citizens and their families get the care and support they need."
