A Season Filled with Music: November Concerts at TLU

There's music in the air at Texas Lutheran University in November, with abundant special concerts for the community to attend.

On Thursday, November 13, the TLU Jazz Band will perform at 7 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium. On Sunday, November 16, the TLU Orchestra concert will take place at 4 p.m., also in Jackson Auditorium. On Monday, November 17, join us for Noche de Mariachi con Mariachi Oro y Negro at 7 p.m. in Wupperman Little Theatre, located in the Schuech Fine Arts Center. There will be a TLU Percussion concert on Tuesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium.

On Friday, November 21 at 7 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium, the TLU Bands, comprised of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds under the leadership of Director of Bands and Baenziger Professor of Music, Dr. Brett A. Richardson, will present their second concert of the 2025-2026 school year. Entitled "Give Us This Day," the concert features American composer David Maslanka's significant short symphony by the same name, along with a diverse repertoire of works for the modern wind band. Following the concert, Tau Beta Sigma band sorority will be selling pies for $15.
