560 Soccer Teams To Participate In Las Vegas Mayor's Cup International Tournament Oct. 24-26, 2025

Public Welcome To Attend Games - Free Spectator Admission

The Las Vegas Mayor's Cup International Soccer Tournament is back for the 25th year as one of the largest and best-known international youth soccer tournaments. Created in 2000 by former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman to further youth sports, the annual event is co-hosted by the city of Las Vegas and the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club. The tournament is expected to bring about $40 million into the local economy, according to Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club President Roger Tabor.

This year's tournament expects 560 teams ages 8-15 from Canada, Mexico, France, Ecuador, England and Colombia, and 12 U.S. states, including 414 boys teams and 146 girls teams. Admission to games is free all weekend. Spectators should bring their own seating, as thousands are expected to attend and participate; carpooling is encouraged as parking lots will fill up quickly.

Teams will compete between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex. Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., teams will compete at all the fields listed below. Gold and silver levels are offered for boys and girls, with each team guaranteed three games. Friday games will include primarily local teams. The platinum-ranked tournament will be based at the Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex with games held at fields in the following locations:

  • Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex, 7353 Eugene Ave. (tournament headquarters)
  • Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex, 7901 W. Washington Ave.
  • All-American Park, 1551 S. Buffalo Drive
  • Ed Fountain Park, 1400 N. Decatur Blvd.
  • Cragin Park, 984 Hinson St.
  • James Regional Sports Park, 8400 W. Robindale Road

Friendly matches with international teams from Mexico, England, Ecuador and Colombia, as well as teams from Las Vegas and Hawaii, will be held Thursday, Oct. 23, at Kellogg/Zaher Sports Complex; times and field numbers are to be determined. Contact Tournament Director Colin Tabor at 702.417.7730 for the most current information on friendly games.

"The Mayor's Cup International Soccer Tournament brings world-class competition to our local teams and millions of dollars to our local economy," said Mayor Shelley Berkley. "I invite everyone to join me in welcoming these young athletes from North and South America and Europe and enjoy watching them compete in the tournament this weekend."

Members of first- and second-place teams will receive individual medals in each age division, and the Mayor's Cup trophy will be awarded to all first-place teams. Championship games will begin at approximately noon Sunday at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex and Kellogg/Zaher Sports Complex. Awards ceremonies will be approximately 1-4 p.m. at the stage at both parks.
