Webster Votes to Pass FY27 NDAA – Advancing President Trumps Peace Through Strength Agenda

"Today, I voted to pass the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act to ensure America's military remains the most lethal fighting force in the world," said Rep. Webster. "This legislation fulfills Congress' constitutional responsibility to provide for our common defense by supporting the men and women who serve our country, and investing in the capabilities needed to deter our adversaries and respond to threats."

The FY27 NDAA strengthens America's military by rebuilding the defense industrial base, investing in servicemembers and their families, restoring accountability, and providing our Armed Forces with the resources needed to counter adversaries around the world. This legislation advances President Trump's Peace Through Strength agenda by codifying 22 executive orders and implementing over 40 proposals to ensure America's military remains equipped and focused on its core missions.

The FY27 NDAA:

• Provides a 5-7% pay raise and strengthens benefits for servicemembers and military families.
• Fully funds Department of War support for the Department of Homeland Security's border security mission.
• Advances President Trump's Peace Through Strength agenda by funding Golden Dome, expanding shipbuilding, strengthening nuclear deterrence, and modernizing our Armed Forces.
• Authorizes nearly $220 billion for next-generation capabilities, including artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, hypersonics, space-based capabilities, and other emerging technologies.
• Cuts nearly $30 billion by eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse while strengthening oversight and accountability.
• Restores the military's focus on lethality by ending radical DEI programs and refocusing the Department of War on its core mission.
