Vladimir Putin has arrived in Vladivostok, where he will take part in the 9th Eastern Economic Forum. This year, the event's main theme is The Far East: Development for the Benefit of People.
On September 2, the President is scheduled to chair a meeting on the development of the Far Eastern Federal District. In addition, Vladimir Putin will attend an interactive presentation on the region's development efforts and take part in launching new enterprises via videoconference.
The forum's central event, the plenary session, will be held on September 3. Alongside Vladimir Putin, participants in the session will include President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyam-Osoryn Uchral, Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nyo Saw, and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang.
In addition, the President is scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings with leaders of foreign delegations.
