Sheridan Capital’s Currier Plastics Acquires Sage Product Development

Added Expertise Makes Currier a More Strategic and Comprehensive Partner to its Life Sciences Clients

CHICAGO, IL - August 7, 2026 - Sheridan Capital Partners ("Sheridan") today announced that its portfolio company, Currier Plastics ("Currier"), has completed the strategic acquisition of Sage Product Development ("Sage"), an engineering, design and development provider that helps its medical device customers take their products from concept to commercialization.

Sage, based in Foxborough, Massachusetts, has an impressive track record working with its clients to design and develop a range of medical devices, including disposables, reusables, implants, electro-mechanicals, flexible endoscopes, complex catheter-based systems and a range of other minimally invasive devices. Sage engineers partner with customers on early concept and feasibility, product development, project management, and contract manufacturing. Sage has worked with more than 100 clients, playing an instrumental role in more than 220 issued patents and a long-list of commercialized devices.

"Sage is an impressive company that has helped its partners bring many medical devices to market," said Andrew McLean, CEO of Currier Plastics. "Sage enables Currier customers to work with a single, trusted partner across their product journey - from concept all the way through commercial-scale manufacturing."

"My fellow co-founders, Jonathan O'Keefe and Amos Cruz, and I are tremendously excited about what this transaction means for both companies," said Jeffrey Cerier, Co-Founder of Sage. "I want to thank the Sage employee base for making our team such a trusted partner to our customers. As part of Currier, we will have greater resources to bring our services to more medical device companies and can leverage the combined experience of our two organizations. At the same time, by integrating our area of expertise, Currier becomes an even greater strategic partner to its life sciences customers."

"The addition of Sage will strengthen Currier's position as a full-service contract development and manufacturing organization for the life sciences sector, and we are excited about what this combination will mean for Currier and Sage customers and employees," said Michael Bernard, Partner, and Brian McGregor, Principal, of Sheridan Capital Partners.
