SALT LAKE CITY - PDQ, a leading provider of IT asset management software, announced today the launch of PDQ Detect, an innovative vulnerability scanning and management solution. The development and launch of PDQ Detect follows PDQ's strategic acquisition of CODA Intelligence (CODA), a global provider of next generation cybersecurity solutions.
With PDQ Detect, organizations can discover and prioritize high risk vulnerabilities present in their environment. Leveraging CODA's strength in advanced threat detection, PDQ Detect broadens PDQ's extensive suite of asset management tools to make device management simple, secure, and pretty damn quick.
"Making device management secure has always been core to PDQ's product strategy, and we're excited to deliver on that promise in new ways thanks to our collaboration with CODA," said Mark Littlefield, VP of Product at PDQ. "Looking ahead, we are excited to leverage CODA's cybersecurity expertise to further enhance our suite of device management tools, including PDQ Connect, with features that address the full spectrum of potential vulnerabilities."
Founded in 2016, CODA provides state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions that enable Managed Security Service Providers and thousands of businesses globally to effectively manage vulnerabilities across hybrid cloud environments. In 2023, more than 4.7 million vulnerabilities were prioritized and fixed using CODA technology. Over the past several months, the PDQ and CODA teams have collaborated closely to build PDQ Detect.
"We're thrilled to join forces with the PDQ team," says Chris Sandescu, CEO of CODA, who founded CODA alongside Andrew Calin and Octavian Grigorescu. "The need for real-time, quality risk information is critical for IT, MSPs, and security teams, especially now as they face increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Partnering with PDQ will allow us to advance our shared mission of enabling organizations of all sizes to maintain a strong security posture."
