KENOSHA, WI - Since 2016, UW-Parkside has celebrated the creativity and talent of Southeast Wisconsin's young artists through its annual Art Party event. The tradition continues this year with a vibrant High School Art Exhibition and Awards Ceremony on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Emile H. Mathis Gallery in the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities.
The Art Party invites high school art students to showcase their best work in a professional gallery environment-providing early career experience, public recognition, and opportunities to connect with peers and faculty. This year's exhibition will feature more than 80 artworks from 15 regional high schools, highlighting the exceptional talent of students from across Southeastern Wisconsin. While most participating schools are located in Racine and Kenosha, the exhibition extends across the region, with entries from schools as far as Nicolet High School in Glendale and Arrowhead High School in Hartland.
