Dentons advises DEK on the sale of the STACHEMA’s Czech and Slovak subsidiaries to Saint-Gobain

Prague-Global law firm Dentons has advised DEK a.s., one of the leading building materials and construction services groups in the Czech Republic, on the sale of 100% of the shares in its subsidiaries STACHEMA Kolín s.r.o. in the Czech Republic and STACHEMA Bratislava a.s. in Slovakia to Saint-Gobain Construction Products CZ a.s., part of the global Saint-Gobain group. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

STACHEMAis a leading producer and distributor of chemical admixtures for concrete and related construction chemistry products. The group operates five manufacturing facilities across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Ukraine, serving customers throughout the Central and Eastern European region.

Dentons advised DEK on all legal aspects of the transaction, including the preparation and negotiation of the share purchase agreement and related transaction documentation, as well as support throughout the signing process. The firm continues to advise the client on the preparation for and implementation of the closing.
