City of West Hollywood to Host Two Upcoming Unarmed Security Ambassador Services Community Meetings/Job Fairs with Allied Universal

Allied Universal Security Services will begin administration of the West Hollywood Security Ambassadors program starting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

As part of the Security Ambassadors program transition to Allied Universal, the City of West Hollywood will host two Unarmed Security Ambassador Services Community Meetings and Job Fairs with Allied Universal. Join in to meet and learn about Allied Universal and explore job opportunities with the company. No RSVP is required, and the meetings/job fairs are free to attend.

The first Community Meeting and Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Plummer Park Community Center, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard, in Rooms 5 & 6. Free parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the surface lots at Plummer Park.

The second Community Meeting and Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the West Hollywood Park Aquatic & Recreation Center, located at 8750 El Tovar Place, in the Doheny Room. Validated parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the West Hollywood Park 5-Story Structure, located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard.

Allied Universal Security Services has a long history of successfully providing security services in communities across California and throughout the United States. Allied Universal Security Services will provide uniformed bicycle, kiosk, foot patrol, fixed post, special event, and transit Security Ambassador program services in the City of West Hollywood. The West Hollywood Security Ambassadors program will maintain its current organizational structure, which includes security ambassadors, team leaders, safety officers, supervisors, and a general manager.

The West Hollywood Security Ambassadors program has a direct positive impact on safety and neighborhood livability. The program provides a highly visible uniformed presence at the street level and focuses on safety as well as hospitality in West Hollywood with specific emphasis on supporting a more robust, accessible, and welcoming presence where people shop, walk, and enjoy recreation. Security Ambassadors at kiosks located throughout the City regularly assist community members and visitors, supplement West Hollywood Sheriff's Station patrols and, in emergencies, work in partnership with law enforcement Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station.

In the coming weeks, the City of West Hollywood will launch a new 24/7 hotline number for calling and texting the West Hollywood Security Ambassadors program. Updates and information will be provided at https://www.weho.org/security.
